Capt. Divisor, the “Think Fast” Game, and Other Stuff

My mom was giving me a refresher course on math terms, and to help me remember what parts of division are called, she drew this . . .

Pretty crazy, am I right? I wish she would do stuff like this more often — it might make math tolerable — but, unfortunately, I think this moment of weirdness was a one-time thing.

It’s still really funny . . . At least, it is to me. It might just look sick to some of you.

MOVING ON.

One of my BFFs spent the night a few weeks ago, and we made up this really fun, random game. I call it . . . “Think Fast.”

What you need to play:

• People. Obviously.
• A brain. Hopefully all of you have one of the these.

So, one person says a word — scratchy, rude, pain, etc. The other person must say the first thing they think of upon hearing the word.

Example (via my best friend and I):

BFF: Pain.

Me: Bubble Wrap.

BFF: What?

Me: You know, they redesigned Bubble Wrap . . . it’s a lot harder to pop . . .

Some evil genius made Bubble Wrap impossible to pop. When you squeeze on a bubble, all of the air simply flows through a tube and into the next bubble.

Not cool, Evil Genius, not cool.

I would recommend savoring your Bubble Wrap while you can. Do something awesome with it, like this guy.

NEXT SUBJECT

Most of us bloggers are really polite, right? We feel obliged to like other people’s comments. And when someone that I’ve been having a conversation with likes my comment, I always think, There should be a way to like likes.

Think about it for a second. If we were able to like other likes, there would be this long string of “So-and-so liked your like,” followed by “You liked so-and-so’s like.”

This is very fun to yell when you’re running.

Ice cream. Why is it not one word? Icecream just makes more sense than . . . ice cream.

I want to write this story about homicidal butter knives, alpacas, vegetables, chinchillas, blah blah blah. I think it would be very amusing to write.
