*coughs*

I wanted to photograph something other than the flowers outside my house, and I found what I was looking for in my bedroom: crayons and colored pencils. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was doing, so they pictures didn’t turn out that well. But it certainly was an adventure, photographing art supplies! I’m going to try to find more creative photography subjects in the future. :)

What do you like using to create art? I like Sharpies and colored pencils!

You have Prismacolor color pencils!?! Those are one of the best brands! My mom uses those and she’s a really good artist. They’re a really great brand, but mine are all old and don’t work well.

In your star hexagon you have place the blue and orange in a straight line but the others are out of line . It means the angles are not all sixty degrees. Forgive my comment if this was intentional .

Hello! I wasn’t trying to get all the angles perfect when I set up my star hexagon. It was just a fun way to arrange my crayons, and it wasn’t like I was using a tool to get the angles right.

Sorry Loren one of my idiosyncrasies is to look for geometric order in things . There is so much order in nature, flowers , petals, seeds , leaves etc. I’m the sort of man who has to straighten a picture or curtain if it’s hanging crookedly.

This picture hooked me in. I’m trying to get into creative photography myself. There’s sooooo much you can do if you let your mind go and let the ideas flow! Don’t be afraid to put things out there. My favorite saying is ” beauty is in the eye of the beholder” if you see potential. Shoot it. Make other see your perspective :)
