hey, i’m loren, the loser who runs this blog.

in early 2014, i started blogging about my american girl dolls. that site sparked my love for photography. by the time 2014 was coming to a close, i found that i wanted a space to share my writing and photos, so i created a personal blog that fell apart after a few weeks. fast forward nearly a year, and i was wishing for a personal blog again. on july 21st, 2015, i launched this site, let’s be lost (although it had a different title in the beginning).

i’ve made so many amazing and supportive friends through this blog, and it’s helped me explore my passions, like writing, photography, and art.

enough about my blog. i should say a bit about me, too, yeah?

my name is loren, and i’m a christian teen who’s been homeschooled my entire life. i spend a lot of my time listening to music — some of my favorite bands are twenty one pilots, my chemical romance, all time low, panic! at the disco, fall out boy, the front bottoms, beartooth, green day, owl city, blink-182, and many more. i draw a lot, i write stories and poems, i usually have my nose in a book, i take my camera everywhere, and i can give you a run for your money on a soccer field.

sometimes the world can be a dark place, but it’s important to always have hope. even the tiniest spark can be enough to keep you alive. please believe me when i say that everything will be ok, even if you feel impossibly lost right now. the universe has a strange way of making all the puzzle pieces click together in the end. darling, you’ll be ok.

i hope that you’ll stick around, and we can get lost together.
